MISSING IN ACTION
The entry list for the trials to select the English Women’s Team to compete in the European Championships in Herning, Denmark, does not include the names of multiple World Champions Nicola Smith and Nevena Senior, perhaps marking the end of an era.
Only six pairs will contest the trials for the Open Team, the winners joining the already selected Andrew Robson and David Gold with the third pair being determined by the Selection Committee, considering the views of the winners and preselected pair.
