TRIUMPHANT RETURN
With 74 teams (many more applied after registration had closed), the World Bridge Federation’s 2nd Online Women’s Teams at the beginning of January was a triumph.
The different time Zones meant that play was more or less continuous for 72 hours. In a thrilling finish, the title went to Paris et Bordeaux, Danièle Avon, Catherine Dumesnil, Donatella Halfon, Margaux Kurek-Beaulieu, Séverine Paulissen & Géraldine Poussou, with Gert-Jan Paulissen (non-playing Captain) & David Harari (Coach).
