WARNING NOTE

The Bridge Federation of India has announced the introduction of Yellow Cards for the violation of WBF laws 73, 74 and 89.

One Yellow card will be issued for each offence. However, in cases of very serious nature, the Director may issue two yellow cards, resulting in the suspension of the player from that event. A player receiving two separate yellow cards in the same event will be expelled from the tournament.

At every event a player starts with zero yellow cards.

A player receiving more than six yellow cards altogether (or such number as may be decided by the disciplinary committee from time to time) loses the eligibility to participate in trials and eligibility to represent India.

In addition, a player may be barred for participating in future tournaments from six months to one year, such duration being based on the recommendation of the disciplinary committee.

There me be a deduction of Master Points and Ranking Points.

Details of yellow cards shown in a calendar year will be in the public domain.
