TOP CONGRESS

During the European Transnational Championships in Poznań, the EBL announced that it had signed an
agreement with the Czech Bridge Federation and AVE-CHESS z.s which will see the next five editions of the European Winter Transnational Championships being staged at the Top Congress Hotel in Prague (the venue used earlier this year). The Championships will take place in February, from 2027 lasting a maximum of 16 playing days (next year the tournament will run from 10-19 February) ending always on the Thursday (the last playing day) before the last whole weekend in February. The EBL plans to organize Mixed Teams championships in the first week, followed by Open Teams Championships in the second week.
