Buoyed by their remarkable success last year, the Winter Transnational Championships are returning for a second consecutive edition in the Czech Republic’s capital.
The 3rd European Winter Transnational Championships will be held in Prague, Czech Republic, from 10 to 19 February 2026, under the auspices of the European Bridge League (EBL). The Championships take place at the Top Congress Hotel Prague and are open to players and teams from all around the world.
The event features a range of national-rated competitions, including the European Winter Open Teams Championship, the main event whose 2025 final between entre Zip et Zim (Zimmermann) was an incredible thriller.
Other events are the European Winter Swiss Cup, the European Winter Mixed Teams Championship, the Open BAM, the Open Pairs and the Mixed Pairs, all awarding medals and EBL masterpoints.
