BRIDGE BRAWL

Bridge streamer Kai Eckert (Bridgin’ with Kai) has announced an event that he has been planning for several months, Bridge Brawl!

In a ground-breaking event, he is bringing together 18 bridge content creators (including Bridgerama’s Pete Hollands) to contest a Soloway style tournament on BBO in the middle of March, immediately after the Spring Nationals in St. Louis. There will be a round robin phase with two groups, followed by a knockout.

The knockout matches will include a new win condition that will keep the brawlers and viewers on their toes. It’s linked to tennis, and involves the famous beer card, the Seven of Diamonds! Spectators might even have a chance to help decide the winner for matches if they’re too tied up! 

You can watch the event in your favorite content creators’ livestream, or if you want a bird’s-eye view, you can check out the Bridge Base online YouTube channel, where there will be a long continuous livestream with commentary coverage of every single match.
