In June, the Contract Bridge Association of Ireland’s Annual General Meeting voted unanimously in favour of the proposed amalgamation with the Northern Ireland Bridge Union. The NIBU’s AGM on the same day also voted in favour, but subject to seeing some outstanding legal documentation. The proposed amalgamation date is 1 September 2026. The combined organisation will be known as Bridge Ireland.
