Arguments
North: “You asked me for more details about my shape. When I repeat my Spades without a jump to 3♠, you can deduce that I have a regular hand. I did not think that after an unlimited cue-bid, you were allowed to pass 2♠.»
South: “As you can overcall 1♠ with as little as 9HCP, I could be in danger at the 3-level. We play that the cue-bid promises a fit. You have 14HCP and I promised at least 11 total points. You must simply jump to 4♠.»
