a small feat narrowly missed

This Sunday, “my” Girls were eliminated from the Coupe de France (French Cup). They had fielded an all-girls team and narrowly lost (3 IMPs) to a very good team, with players who are regulars in the National Division 2. So they missed out on a small feat.
