Applied correctly Blackwood is one of the most useful conventions when it comes to identifying if you have
the necessary controls for a slam. However, one has to be careful when using it if the trump suit is going to be a minor suit (particularly when it is Clubs) as an unwelcome response might take us past 5 of a minor.
