BOTH OPPONENTS BID

Larry Cohen continues his all-encompassing series on Doubles.

In the first three months of this series, RHO opened, and we doubled. Usually, we had 12–17 total points and support for the other three suits. Occasionally, we had 18 or more total points and any shape.
This month, LHO will open, partner will pass, and RHO will bid. What if we double? It is still for takeout (not penalty). It is still assumed to be 12–17 total points and the other suits (but could be 18 or more and any shape). Here are some examples:
