RESPONDING TO A TAKEOUT DOUBLE [PART 2]

Last month, we looked at the basic structure for responding to your partner’s one-level takeout double. In this continuation of that topic, we will consider two more situations that may arise after the same start to the auction. So far, we have only considered responder’s action after opener’s partner has passed the double. Suppose the third hand bids. What do you then need to take action?
Consider these three hands:

HAND A
♠ A863
♥ 85
♦ J1042
♣ 863

HAND B
♠ K1063
♥ Q5
♦ 8532
♣ Q102

HAND C
♠ K10963
♥ K5
♦ 8542
♣ K6
