BRIDGE ON TOUR
One of the aims of the Tour is to give promotional value to international bridge, the constantly changing ranking list offering publicity opportunities outside the major championships.

by Mark Horton
Just like other ‘tours’ such as Tennis and Golf, players can travel the globe in the hunt for ranking points. Following on from the World Championships in Marrakech, this month offers opportunities in Vilnius, Lithuania, Mt Maunganui, New Zealand and the BK Istanbul Open, Türkiye. In October the HCL International Teams in Delhi affords another chance to collect points, as does the Red Sea Festival Open Pairs in Eilat, Israel in November. The climax will come at the ACBL’s Fall Nationals in Atlanta, where the points on offer in the Soloway Knockout Teams, Kaplan Blue Ribbon Pairs, Keohane North American Swiss Teams and Reisinger Teams may well determine who finishes on top this year.
